  • New concepts in natural product exploration

  • Systems biology of microbial consortia / bioinformatics

  • Infection biology of human-pathogenic fungi

  • Therapeutic microbes

  • Infection immunology

We seek applications from highly committed, advanced postdoctoral researchers with international experience and an outstanding scientific track record. The successful candidate is expected to actively collaborate within our interdisciplinary research community. The successful candidate will be associated with one of the research units at the Leibniz-HKI – depending on the thematic focus – and will have access to the existing research infrastructure. We will support her/him in identifying suitable funding opportunities (e.g. DFG, ERC, Leibniz Competition) and provide support for preparation of grant proposals.

  • A PhD (or equivalent) and postdoctoral research experience in any scientific discipline represented in the focal areas of the Leibniz-HKI

  • An excellent track record in your research area as well as successful interdisciplinary cooperation

We offer:

  • A highly communicative atmosphere within a scientific network providing top-level research

  • An outstanding scientific environment at the Beutenberg Campus providing state-of-the-art research facilities and a highly integrative network of life science groups
