12 PHD POSITIONS
in MSCA Doctoral Network "MiccrobioTAckle”
Description:
We are looking for 12 highly motivated Doctoral Candidates (DC) to fill positions in our Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action (MSCA) Doctoral Network MiCCrobioTAckle across our 7 European research centers located in Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, Ireland, and Hungary. Together with experts on computational biology, microbiology, synthetic biology, clinical, and experimental science, we strive to provide microbiome-based solutions to improve clinical management of cancer cachexia, a debilitating metabolic syndrome affecting a large proportion of cancer patients.
Career development and international mobility of researchers is a key concept within the MSCA-DN framework. All nodes of the MiCCrobioTAckle network will participate in a thoroughly designed DC training program that sets emphasis on (i) strengthening cross-disciplinary skills, (ii) combining cutting-edge research training with vision for innovation and commercial exploitation, and (iii) surpassing barriers for knowledge exchange between industry and academiaYour profile:

You have a university degree (MSc or comparable) in systems biology, bioengineering, biology, bioinformatics, medicine, epidemiology, public health, neuroscience, behavioral science, biochemistry, microbiology, or related disciplines.

You have a strong interest in conducting collaborative research.
Specific Eligibility Criteria on the Horizon Europe Programme (MSCA-DN):

Doctoral Candidate: You have not yet been awarded a doctoral degree at the date of the recruitment.

Mobility rule: You have not resided or carried out main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the host beneficiary for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the recruitment date.

English language: You are able to understand and express yourselves in both written and spoken English.
